Teodosio Iigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bello Cura, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Teodosio Iigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bello Cura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Niclas Füllkrug received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Isidoro Rio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tom Hermansson in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isidoro Rio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Teodosio Iigo made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Bello Cura sent off a good shot on target. 43 minutes into the match, Argentinean Patriots 1816's goal looked a bit too open when Petr Vosáhlo came free, but Isidoro Rio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Tom Hermansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Argentinean Patriots 1816 made a substitution. Ben-Ami Ranchin replaced Noé Nouveau. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tom Hermansson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, AZURDUY F.C.'s Fred Åkerström got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Niclas Füllkrug could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Isidoro Rio made a huge save. Teodosio Iigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ben-Ami Ranchin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isidoro Rio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niclas Füllkrug in the 66th minute of the match. The supporters of Argentinean Patriots 1816 booed when AZURDUY F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Ostots didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute, Arnaldo Ostots hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isidoro Rio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niclas Füllkrug in the 70th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Bello Cura's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teodosio Iigo was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. After some careless play in the AZURDUY F.C. defense, Bello Cura kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teodosio Iigo. The AZURDUY F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teodosio Iigo should have stopped the shot. Teodosio Iigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bello Cura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teodosio Iigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ben-Ami Ranchin in the 78th minute of the match. If Pekka Rollins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the AZURDUY F.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Argentinean Patriots 1816.
