The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Delmiro Peru during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Motu's Delmiro Peru got a free kick in the 11th minute. Dibag Martinez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hipolito Osmundo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 13 minute of play. Bob Marley blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Łukasz Fabiański having to make a save. 16 minutes into the match, Motu's goal looked a bit too open when Bob Marley came free, but Łukasz Fabiański reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute, Motu's Hipolito Osmundo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. With a little luck, La Pantera Azulgrana's Dibag Martinez got control of the ball when Hipolito Osmundo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Uriel Lleir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dibag Martinez having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olaf Skaradowski in the 42nd minute of play forced Motu's goalkeeper Łukasz Fabiański to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 44 played minutes Motu got a freekick which was hit by Jim Brandt. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bob Marley made a kick off. A collision led to Motu getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Uriel Lleir hit a great ball. Motu's Hipolito Osmundo got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, La Pantera Azulgrana's Niceto Burni got a free kick in the 60th minute. Mati Suárez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. La Pantera Azulgrana made a substitution. Nicolas Jaen replaced Orlando Bloom. In the 76th minute Uriel Lleir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dibag Martinez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dibag Martinez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uriel Lleir in the 80th minute of play. Niceto Burni made in the 84th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Motu's Jairo Orti. A sloppy throw-in by Darío Ponga in the 88th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by La Pantera Azulgrana's Niceto Burni. La Pantera Azulgrana's attentive Niceto Burni managed to snatch the ball when Jairo Orti made a throw-in in the 91st minute of the game. La Pantera Azulgrana's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
