Godofredo Marin started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the Almeyra F.C. defense, Nemanja Vidić kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristo Colas. The Almeyra F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristo Colas should have stopped the shot. 9 minutes into the match, Almeyra F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cruz Credo came free, but Cristo Colas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Adan Otsoko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cruz Credo took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristo Colas. Cristo Colas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cruz Credo in the 21st minute of play forced Almeyra F.C.'s goalkeeper Cristo Colas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cruz Credo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristo Colas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. When Almeyra F.C.'s Adan Otsoko in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Maravilla's goalie prevented a goal. Jeronimo Gines made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danilo Remir in the 36th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Adan Otsoko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jeronimo Gines. Maravilla's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adan Otsoko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Jeronimo Gines showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danilo Remir in the 43rd minute of the match. 47 minutes into the game, Danilo Remir cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Jeronimo Gines was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adan Otsoko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cruz Credo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristo Colas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Perico in the 54th minute of play forced Maravilla's goalkeeper Jeronimo Gines to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute Danilo Remir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Gines saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeronimo Gines showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adan Otsoko in the 58th minute of the match. Adan Otsoko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Jeronimo Gines tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Danilo Remir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 70 minutes, Cruz Credo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maravilla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cruz Credo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 71 minutes into the match, Almeyra F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cruz Credo came free, but Cristo Colas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeronimo Gines took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danilo Remir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute of the match Almeyra F.C. got a corner. Maravilla's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Victorio Sabino ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience was convinced that Adan Otsoko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jeronimo Gines was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. 81 minutes into the match, Almeyra F.C.'s goalkeeper Cristo Colas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cruz Credo. Jeronimo Gines showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danilo Remir, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 85 minutes into the match, Cruz Credo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristo Colas. Almeyra F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cruz Credo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. With a little luck, Almeyra F.C.'s Cristo Colas got control of the ball when Cruz Credo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adan Otsoko blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jeronimo Gines having to make a save. Although Almeyra F.C. had been in control for most of the match, Maravilla still came away with the win.
