FC Csíkszereda's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The audience was convinced that Carlos Mei's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 傅寒锋 was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. After 16 minutes FC Csíkszereda's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ediberto de Queirós who took care of the corner kick. Corneliu Zubaşcu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lyle Coppack read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. FC Csíkszereda's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Carlos Mei scored to the left of an out of position 傅寒锋, making the score, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Mei got free with 傅寒锋 in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 傅寒锋 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Mei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Ediberto de Queirós hit a great ball. Isac Cicortaș received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Lyle Coppack tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Csíkszereda's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ediberto de Queirós was slow to take the kick. During this time Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Fábio Vieira to fire away a dangerous shot which 傅寒锋 despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Carlos Mei could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but 傅寒锋 made a huge save. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Csíkszereda's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ediberto de Queirós was slow to take the kick. During this time Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Carlos Mei heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 41st minute Isac Cicortaș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lyle Coppack saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Carlos Mei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Mei made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ediberto de Queirós during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FC Csíkszereda booed when Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ediberto de Queirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Carlos Mei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the game, Carlos Mei cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. 傅寒锋 was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tiberiu Daraban hit a great ball. 傅寒锋 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Mei in the 66th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Carlos Mei had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of 傅寒锋. FC Csíkszereda's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Mei was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Mihăiţă Stolniceanu was substituted for Ferdinand Zmărăndache. 傅寒锋 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Mei went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Carlos Mei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 80th minute Carlos Mei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 傅寒锋 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 傅寒锋 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Mei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fábio Vieira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th minute, Carlos Mei ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 傅寒锋 was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely had played much better football throughout.
