When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Santiago Silva was the one to do the kick off. Felix Ivarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sotiris Zacharakis in the 51st minute of play. After 52 played minutes Calenzano got a freekick which was hit by Comunardo Chizzo. After 65 played minutes ΠΑΟΚ FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristo Rolado. Calenzano's Alessandro Giocondo was substituted for Yaniusky Pardo. Calenzano's Pierrot Leenpoels was substituted for Arturo Di Matteo. Calenzano's Ennio Daniele was substituted for Alessio Santini. In the 66th match minute, ΠΑΟΚ FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristo Rolado to maneuver through the defense. The referee felt a red card was in order, 67 minutes into the game, when Vassilis Bitsikas put in a rough tackle. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for ΠΑΟΚ FC! The ΠΑΟΚ FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ingvar Nykvist should have stopped the shot. Santiago Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Felix Ivarsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Santiago Silva dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Felix Ivarsson, 4-1. 87 minutes into the match, ΠΑΟΚ FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pierrot Leenpoels came free, but Ingvar Nykvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Pierrot Leenpoels notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of ΠΑΟΚ FC's Ingvar Nykvist. Ingvar Nykvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ingvar Nykvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pierrot Leenpoels in the 96th minute of play.
