Tomáš Houdek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Godfredo Barroso went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 21st minute, Miloslav Krupička got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guto Jacinto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Novaes in the 24th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, AFC Cherries's Jan Duspiva got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernardo Novaes in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guto Jacinto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jan Duspiva made in the 46th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Radek Rokos immediately put the ball in play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernardo Novaes got free with Guto Jacinto in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Tomáš Houdek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kaj Låsberg in the 53rd minute. In the 60th minute, Bernardo Novaes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lex Academy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. After some careless play in the AFC Cherries defense, Bernardo Novaes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guto Jacinto. The AFC Cherries fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guto Jacinto should have stopped the shot. Bernardo Novaes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Guto Jacinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Novaes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernardo Novaes might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guto Jacinto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernardo Novaes ran back to his position shaking his head. AFC Cherries's Guto Jacinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Novaes in the 93rd minute of play. Lex Academy's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
