Bálint Hellinger came out and tried to block the shot, but Eliseo Mano slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 7th minute. In the 9th minute Miklós Fehér shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kostja Vertot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Budapest's goalkeeper Bálint Hellinger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ersan Šokčević during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Fajteri's Ersan Šokčević got a free kick in the 14th minute. After 15 played minutes Fajteri got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Filipović. Eliseo Mano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Bálint Hellinger made a huge save. Kostja Vertot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miklós Fehér, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kostja Vertot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from János Holzhauser in the 23rd minute of the match. Bálint Hellinger didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eliseo Mano went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. With a little luck, FC Budapest's Bálint Hellinger got control of the ball when Eliseo Mano tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Eliseo Mano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fajteri's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseo Mano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bálint Hellinger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eliseo Mano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 47 minutes of play, Fajteri's Eliseo Mano made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bálint Hellinger was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miklós Fehér stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bálint Hellinger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Mano in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Eliseo Mano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 56 played minutes FC Budapest got a freekick which was hit by Viktor Edelényi. 59 minutes into the game, Fajteri's Eliseo Mano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bálint Hellinger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Félix Kis hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Ersan Šokčević was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 65th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as János Holzhauser kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kostja Vertot. That made the score 4-1 in the 67 minute of play. Fajteri's Armando Vogrinčič was substituted for Eliseo Mano. Fajteri's Tiburcio Abadie was substituted for Leandro Paredes. Tamás Káposztás kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 74 minutes into the game, Tamás Káposztás was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Budapest's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fajteri the free kick. Bálint Hellinger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Vogrinčič, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fajteri were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after FC Budapest's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tiburcio Abadie took the corner. Kostja Vertot made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Botond Kutasi sent off a good shot on target. Armando Vogrinčič might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bálint Hellinger. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Armando Vogrinčič ran back to his position shaking his head. Bálint Hellinger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Vogrinčič in the 81st minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Armando Vogrinčič made a precise shot to the right of Bálint Hellinger. FC Budapest's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. After 86 minutes of play FC Budapest's Tamás Káposztás was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 87 played minutes FC Budapest got a freekick which was hit by Tamás Káposztás. If Arnulf Vidmar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute Fajteri were awarded a corner. Tiburcio Abadie went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Fajteri's Tiburcio Abadie to fire away a dangerous shot which Bálint Hellinger despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Budapest players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Fajteri.
