Ovidiu Adrian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Martínez Gullotta in the 10th minute of play. Circus BAF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Abdel Masoud Ghannouchi in the 12th minute. Abdel Masoud Ghannouchi made a great header on Circus BAF's corner, it was just that Poli Timisoara's Ovidiu Adrian managed to reach the ball for a save. Lautaro Martínez Gullotta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ovidiu Adrian read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Circus BAF were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after Poli Timisoara's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Abdel Masoud Ghannouchi took the corner. The supporters of Circus BAF booed when Poli Timisoara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horst-Peter Unterberger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Circus BAF's Abubakar Al Abdullah was substituted for Ronald Van Achteren. After a rather tough play, Circus BAF's Gary Medel got a free kick in the 74th minute. 75 minutes into the match, Circus BAF's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Primeiro came free, but Amador Paublo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Poli Timisoara's Ovidiu Adrian proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Poli Timisoara from getting a goal against them. After 90 minutes Poli Timisoara's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Abdel Masoud Ghannouchi who took care of the corner kick. 93 minutes into the game, Poli Timisoara's Mauro Primeiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amador Paublo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Poli Timisoara were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
