Spectators: 187 (Terracing: 141, Seating: 43, VIP seats: 3) SCs StarS's Thiago Gol started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thiago Gol in the 5th minute of play forced GARGOYLES's goalkeeper Nayden Vúlev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Thiago Gol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Florian Hekman during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Florian Hekman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nayden Vúlev having to interfere. SCs StarS's Petr Čech proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save SCs StarS from getting a goal against them. 19 minutes in the game Naycho Dotzov did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Antonio Sciotto. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thiago Gol in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nayden Vúlev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. SCs StarS's Petr Čech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Slavyan Mechkuev in the 24th minute of play. In the 34th minute, Ignacio Alvarez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 李永乐 Appleton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Petr Čech read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Slavyan Mechkuev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Petr Čech tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute Jordy Dirks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nayden Vúlev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thiago Gol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nayden Vúlev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ignacio Alvarez made a kick off. 61 minutes into the match, SCs StarS's Thiago Gol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nayden Vúlev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Slavyan Mechkuev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, SCs StarS's Nayden Vúlev threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Thiago Gol, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, GARGOYLES's Nayden Vúlev got control of the ball when Jordy Dirks tried to sneak it across the goal line. SCs StarS's Robert de Graaf was substituted for Edgar Reitsema. SCs StarS made a substitution. Kelvin Dekkers replaced Luka Ramos. In the 85th minute Thiago Gol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nayden Vúlev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Slavyan Mechkuev kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jordy Dirks got free with Nayden Vúlev in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, GARGOYLES's Slavyan Mechkuev got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 95th match minute, SCs StarS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wlodzimierz Kochanowski to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Slavyan Mechkuev managed to get in a good position for a shot. GARGOYLES's supporters rose to their feet, but Slavyan Mechkuev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Petr Čech breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The SCs StarS players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented GARGOYLES from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
