Mátyás Zakariás sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute Ernesto Belarmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrick Zeier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute of the match Hungarian Olympic got a corner. Tarada's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Endre Révész ran over to the corner to take the kick. Hungarian Olympic's Endre Révész was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Henrick Zeier in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Lukács Bánhegyi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Wielowiejski in the 24th minute of play. When Hungarian Olympic's Ernesto Belarmo in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tarada's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Wielowiejski in the 38th minute of play forced Hungarian Olympic's goalkeeper Lukács Bánhegyi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henrick Zeier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miladin Kirichev, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 43 minutes into the match, Hungarian Olympic's goalkeeper Lukács Bánhegyi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arthur Hengemühl. Henrick Zeier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Belarmo in the 45th minute of play. Miladin Kirichev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tarada's Florian Walther was substituted for Piotrek Zielinski. Tarada's Massimo Wechsler was substituted for Leif Kohler. After the first half Hungarian Olympic were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

52 minutes into the match, Tarada's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Belarmo came free, but Henrick Zeier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Hungarian Olympic booed when Tarada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ron Migneault didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Tarada's Henrick Zeier got control of the ball when Miladin Kirichev tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 61st minute Adam Wielowiejski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lukács Bánhegyi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Mátyás Zakariás came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Hungarian Olympic fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mátyás Zakariás couldn't finish the play. Hungarian Olympic's Lukács Bánhegyi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Wielowiejski in the 67th minute of play. Henrick Zeier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Belarmo in the 70th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Hungarian Olympic's goal looked a bit too open when Ron Migneault came free, but Lukács Bánhegyi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute Adam Wielowiejski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lukács Bánhegyi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miladin Kirichev who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Henrick Zeier when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 76thth minute of the game Adam Wielowiejski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hungarian Olympic's Lukács Bánhegyi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Henrick Zeier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miladin Kirichev in the 78th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Wielowiejski in the 80th minute of play forced Hungarian Olympic's goalkeeper Lukács Bánhegyi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Hungarian Olympic's Ernesto Belarmo in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Hungarian Olympic fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Hungarian Olympic's Ernesto Belarmo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Henrick Zeier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ernesto Belarmo's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Henrick Zeier stood somewhat misplaced when Ernesto Belarmo came free in front of goal and shot 0-4 to the left of him in the 88 minute. With a little luck, Tarada's Henrick Zeier got control of the ball when Miladin Kirichev tried to sneak it across the goal line.
