In the 17th minute Christos Tzolis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sonny Söderström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Strömnäs BK's Maximino Totakoxe threw himself towards the right post 24 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Harry Olsman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Rickard Örnberg fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BK Södra's protests and gave Rickard Örnberg a yellow card for diving instead. Rickard Örnberg kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Eric Da Silva struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Sonny Söderström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BK Södra. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of Strömnäs BK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of BK Södra:s goal. Strömnäs BK:s Sonny Söderström showed great skill when he stopped Rickard Örnberg:s penalty. Sonny Söderström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rickard Örnberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes into the match, Rickard Örnberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sonny Söderström. Strömnäs BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rickard Örnberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The Strömnäs BK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. BK Södra were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rickard Örnberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sonny Söderström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eric Da Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Strömnäs BK's Morgan Classon was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Maximino Totakoxe in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Maximino Totakoxe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harry Olsman, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Sonny Söderström came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by BK Södra's Christos Tzolis. But to his dismay, Christos Tzolis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 70th minute, Björn Holmgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. BK Södra made a substitution. Frank Josefsson replaced Björn Holmgren. Gustav Jönsson spun around in front of the goal 72 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of BK Södra's goal. After 73 played minutes Strömnäs BK got a freekick which was hit by Morgan Classon. Christos Tzolis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Sonny Söderström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Strömnäs BK's Sonny Söderström got control of the ball when Rickard Örnberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 78 minutes, Folke Johansson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Strömnäs BK and the BK Södra players grew even worse after the yellow card. Folke Johansson kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Christos Tzolis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sonny Söderström, 0-3. 84 minutes into the game, Emil Ahlqvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Sonny Söderström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, BK Södra's Frank Josefsson got a free kick in the 92nd minute. 94 minutes into the match, Jonas Wenerdahl dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sonny Söderström, 0-5. The Strömnäs BK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. BK Södra were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
