When Hisingen IK's Viktor Nyman in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gnesta Oilers's goalie prevented a goal. In the 29th minute Hisingen IK were awarded a corner. William Gunnarsson went to the cornerflag to take it. Alejo Veliz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Einar Jernberg made a huge save. Einar Jernberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dave Mathy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hisingen IK's Einar Jernberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaudencio Stanislao in the 36th minute of play. Einar Jernberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dave Mathy in the 40th minute of play. In the 41stth minute of the game Viktor Nyman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gnesta Oilers's Patrick Eliasson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Alejo Veliz fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gnesta Oilers's protests and gave Alejo Veliz a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Gnesta Oilers getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Alejo Veliz hit a great ball. Patrick Eliasson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Viktor Nyman's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Bernt Vennerkvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Patrick Eliasson made a huge save. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Gnesta Oilers's goalkeeper Patrick Eliasson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Ove Söderström in the 54th minute of play forced Hisingen IK's goalkeeper Einar Jernberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Einar Jernberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejo Veliz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute Alejo Veliz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Einar Jernberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Hisingen IK's goal looked a bit too open when Dave Mathy came free, but Einar Jernberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th match minute, Hisingen IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt-Arne Wester to maneuver through the defense. Bernt Vennerkvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Patrick Eliasson having to make a save. Viktor Nyman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Patrick Eliasson made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Gnesta Oilers's zone, Viktor Nyman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patrick Eliasson came out of the goal and Viktor Nyman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Viktor Nyman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patrick Eliasson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Einar Jernberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Ove Söderström, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Einar Jernberg came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Gnesta Oilers's Alejo Veliz. But to his dismay, Alejo Veliz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Gnesta Oilers made a substitution. Ludvig Söderlund replaced John Dahlquist. In the 89th match minute, Gnesta Oilers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ludvig Söderlund to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Patrick Eliasson managed to avoid a goal in the 92ndth minute, when Hisingen IK's Viktor Nyman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Hisingen IK's Viktor Nyman in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
