Sundens BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arsenal FC the free kick. Maximilian Dahlquist kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. After 10 played minutes Sundens BK got a freekick which was hit by Alfred Andersson. In the 11th minute, Per Eliasson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Sundens BK booed when Arsenal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Grassi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Sundens BK's Per Eliasson got a free kick in the 13th minute. Marcus Vase made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Grassi in the 23rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Börje Törnblom kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Henrik Enström. That made the score 1-1 in the 34 minute of play. In the 40th minute of the match Agne Björk sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Henrik Enström skillfully saved the ball. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sundens BK's goalkeeper Marcus Vase, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marcus Vase made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nechifor Gherdan in the 45th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

In the 51st minute, Arnaldo Abella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Sundens BK's Beven Carmichael got a free kick in the 70th minute. Sajeev Rajah's late challenge caught a Arsenal FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sajeev Rajah helped the player get up and apologised. In the 76th match minute, Sundens BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sajeev Rajah to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Netto kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Marcus Vase made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valter Lindberg in the 79th minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Sundens BK's goalkeeper Marcus Vase had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christer Elg. Henrik Enström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Börje Törnblom in the 91st minute of the match. In the 94th minute of the match Valter Lindberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcus Vase skillfully saved the ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Sundens BK were victorious despite being under pressure from Arsenal FC for much of the match.
