VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF's Miguel Pedroso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aras Görkem Kaymaz in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Zeferino Falcão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. MZ Fénix were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aras Görkem Kaymaz took the corner. After 26 minutes VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aras Görkem Kaymaz who took care of the corner kick. Miguel Pedroso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cai Yuan Yuan in the 28th minute of play. Miguel Pedroso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cai Yuan Yuan made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Cai Yuan Yuan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Miguel Pedroso. VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cai Yuan Yuan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Pankracy Zajonc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albertus Guine in the 56th minute of the match. The supporters of MZ Fénix booed when VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerónimo Leiria didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miguel Pedroso was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cai Yuan Yuan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 63 minute of play. Cai Yuan Yuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. MZ Fénix's Alexandre Valido was substituted for Vladimiro Granja. After a defensive mix-up in MZ Fénix's zone, Ricardo Prates stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pankracy Zajonc came out of the goal and Ricardo Prates tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cai Yuan Yuan struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Miguel Pedroso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MZ Fénix. Jerónimo Leiria made in the 79th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Albertus Guine however managed to control. Miguel Pedroso came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by MZ Fénix's Cai Yuan Yuan. But to his dismay, Cai Yuan Yuan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. Miguel Pedroso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cai Yuan Yuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. MZ Fénix were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aras Görkem Kaymaz took the corner. The corner led MZ Fénix's Aras Görkem Kaymaz to fire away a dangerous shot which Miguel Pedroso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The MZ Fénix fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-7. Jerónimo Leiria hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute, Cai Yuan Yuan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Miguel Pedroso was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-8. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. MZ Fénix had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
