Sancho Vivero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guntademaro Goyenechea in the 3rd minute of play. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind ¢σи єℓ вσℓѕσ иσ ¢σмρєтιѕ's goalkeeper Sancho Vivero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as General Velásquez's Guntademaro Goyenechea slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sancho Vivero. That made the score 1-0 after 9 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guntademaro Goyenechea in the 13th minute of play forced ¢σи єℓ вσℓѕσ иσ ¢σмρєтιѕ's goalkeeper Sancho Vivero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, ¢σи єℓ вσℓѕσ иσ ¢σмρєтιѕ's Sancho Vivero got control of the ball when Clemente Tuñon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sancho Vivero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clemente Tuñon in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute of the match, Guntademaro Goyenechea tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sancho Vivero saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 30 minutes into the match, ¢σи єℓ вσℓѕσ иσ ¢σмρєтιѕ's goal looked a bit too open when Guntademaro Goyenechea came free, but Sancho Vivero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute Guntademaro Goyenechea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sancho Vivero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, ¢σи єℓ вσℓѕσ иσ ¢σмρєтιѕ's goal looked a bit too open when Guntademaro Goyenechea came free, but Sancho Vivero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. General Velásquez's Henry Tucknott played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Özen Günsel in the 40th minute of play. Sancho Vivero was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Anselmo Johans. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Özen Günsel to make the kick off. Sancho Vivero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guntademaro Goyenechea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 56 played minutes General Velásquez got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Johans. General Velásquez's Teofan Bozadzhiyski was substituted for Marciano Gibson. The supporters of General Velásquez booed when ¢σи єℓ вσℓѕσ иσ ¢σмρєтιѕ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nils Smitt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clemente Tuñon scored 2-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sancho Vivero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, ¢σи єℓ вσℓѕσ иσ ¢σмρєтιѕ's Özen Günsel got a free kick in the 64th minute. Sancho Vivero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renato Goycolea in the 68th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Titus Belanger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 72 played minutes ¢σи єℓ вσℓѕσ иσ ¢σмρєтιѕ got a freekick which was hit by Titus Belanger. Guntademaro Goyenechea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sancho Vivero having to interfere. Apolo Irigoyen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of ¢σи єℓ вσℓѕσ иσ ¢σмρєтιѕ booed when General Velásquez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guntademaro Goyenechea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guntademaro Goyenechea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sancho Vivero having to interfere.
