Lost in pace's Kim Sørmo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Lost in pace from getting a goal against them. 14 minutes into the match, FC Viplala's goal looked a bit too open when Øyvind Åsland came free, but Kalvi Hani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Lost in pace's Øyvind Åsland nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kalvi Hani made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Jürgen Jaani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Kim Sørmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ennu Ainsaar in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kim Sørmo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 22 minutes, Helmuts Picukāns managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lost in pace's supporters crossed their fingers, but Helmuts Picukāns was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kalvi Hani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Helmuts Picukāns in the 27th minute of play. Kim Sørmo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ennu Ainsaar in the 28th minute of play. Sandu Olăroiu hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. With 33 minutes on the clock, Justo Indartsu commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 32 minutes into the game, one of Lost in pace:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 34 minutes Lost in pace's goalkeeper Kim Sørmo managed, with a little bit of luck, save Mikk Lepisk's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. Kim Sørmo came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Viplala's Mikk Lepisk. But to his dismay, Mikk Lepisk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Martin Tremblay struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Kalvi Hani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lost in pace. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Ennu Ainsaar made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Lost in pace's Jon-Egil Ulvin got a free kick in the 51st minute. A collision led to Lost in pace getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Helmuts Picukāns hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jo Grande got free with Kalvi Hani in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lost in pace's Helmuts Picukāns was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kalvi Hani in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 68 minutes, Ennu Ainsaar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Viplala and the Lost in pace players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to FC Viplala getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Ennu Ainsaar hit a great ball. Lost in pace were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after FC Viplala's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Helmuts Picukāns took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Helmuts Picukāns got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kalvi Hani quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Kim Sørmo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jürgen Jaani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, FC Viplala's Ennu Ainsaar got a free kick in the 76th minute. Jan-Aage Reiersen's late challenge caught a FC Viplala's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jan-Aage Reiersen helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Lost in pace getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Jan-Aage Reiersen hit a great ball. Jo Grande's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kalvi Hani read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, FC Viplala's goalkeeper Kalvi Hani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jo Grande. In the 90th minute, Jo Grande got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Øyvind Åsland's late challenge caught a FC Viplala's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Øyvind Åsland helped the player get up and apologised. Øyvind Åsland kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Lost in pace's goal looked a bit too open when Jürgen Jaani came free, but Kim Sørmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kalvi Hani was out of position in the 96 minute of play, and Carlos Alberto Quadros capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Carlos Alberto Quadros really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Lost in pace had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
