Raimundo Feliu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albeiro Usuriaga, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. When Domingo Oihenarte fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Isótopos V.M.'s protests and gave Domingo Oihenarte a yellow card for diving instead. Domingo Oihenarte kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pedro Domingues to strike the kick off in the second half. Taribo West fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Feliu having to interfere. Ignacio Di Stasi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josemir Lujambio in the 71st minute of play. A collision led to Isótopos V.M. getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Fulgencio Matia hit a great ball. Ignacio Di Stasi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ennu Krae, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. J.J Huge hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 80th match minute, Atlético Argentino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by J.J Huge to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Taribo West could shoot a difficult shot in the 83rd minute, which Raimundo Feliu however easily saved by the left post. After having played for 88 minutes, Taribo West managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Isótopos V.M.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Taribo West was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 90 minutes into the game, Albeiro Usuriaga recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Raimundo Feliu. Albeiro Usuriaga showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. In the 94th minute Albeiro Usuriaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimundo Feliu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Piarres in the 95th minute of play forced Isótopos V.M.'s goalkeeper Ignacio Di Stasi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atlético Argentino were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Isótopos V.M. for a fine match.
