The corner ended in Håkan Skager almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Club Deportivo Español's Turgut Talha did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vacid Nefer in the 14th minute of play forced Sotelo AFC's goalkeeper Robustiano Gelmiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led to Sotelo AFC's Diego Armando Santirso getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Ciriaco Dimas in the 27th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Club Deportivo Español's Flavio Botello. Robustiano Gelmiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vacid Nefer in the 28th minute of play. Diego Armando Santirso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ciriaco Dimas made in the 39th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Håkan Skager however managed to control. Turgut Talha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Armando Santirso, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Club Deportivo Español's attentive Flavio Botello managed to snatch the ball when Ciriaco Dimas made a throw-in in the 46th minute of the game. 47 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Español's goal looked a bit too open when Håkan Skager came free, but Turgut Talha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Diego Armando Santirso made the kick off in the second half. Club Deportivo Español's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Diego Armando Santirso scored to the left of an out of position Turgut Talha, making the score, 0-1. In the 58th minute Håkan Skager shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Turgut Talha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vacid Nefer in the 65th minute of play forced Sotelo AFC's goalkeeper Robustiano Gelmiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute Club Deportivo Español were awarded a corner. Joaquin Hug went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Vacid Nefer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Robustiano Gelmiro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 68 minutes, Vacid Nefer made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Sotelo AFC's Robustiano Gelmiro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Flavio Botello kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After 71 played minutes Club Deportivo Español got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Botello. In the 72nd minute Cui Liang Yue shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Turgut Talha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robustiano Gelmiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vacid Nefer in the 81st minute of play. With a little luck, Club Deportivo Español's Turgut Talha got control of the ball when Cui Liang Yue tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 95th match minute, Club Deportivo Español was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Sotil to maneuver through the defense. Cui Liang Yue sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Sotelo AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sotelo AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
