Lisandro López was out of position in the 6 minute of play, and Indiana Jones capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Indiana Jones really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 9th minute, Deportivo Balvanera's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Indiana Jones fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Diego Milito charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diego Milito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 17th minute of the match Deportivo Balvanera got a corner. Club El Progreso's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marciano Koldobika ran over to the corner to take the kick. Deportivo Balvanera's Marciano Koldobika was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Benjamin Tino in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Indiana Jones got free with Lisandro López in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Balvanera's Cristobal Hulberto got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 39th minute, Deportivo Balvanera's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cleto Cordaro fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Indiana Jones's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Lisandro López skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Lisandro López stood somewhat misplaced when Indiana Jones came free in front of goal and shot 6-0 to the left of him in the 41 minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Indiana Jones was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Indiana Jones in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lisandro López prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 52 minutes, Indiana Jones made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Deportivo Balvanera's Lisandro López tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 55th play minutes Indiana Jones shot 8-0, a short shot which went by Lisandro López and just under the crossbar into goal. Enzo Bot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 59th minute Enzo Bot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lisandro López saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cleto Cordaro in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lisandro López saved Deportivo Balvanera from getting behind. Indiana Jones fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lisandro López having to interfere. Indiana Jones sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 66 minutes, Indiana Jones made it 9-0 with a short kick to the right side. Deportivo Balvanera's Lisandro López tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 10-0 when Indiana Jones sped through Deportivo Balvanera's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lisandro López. The Club El Progreso fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Club El Progreso's Indiana Jones looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 11-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lisandro López showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enzo Bot, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 77th minute Adolfo Poz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Tino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cleto Cordaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lisandro López having to interfere. Lisandro López showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Indiana Jones in the 82nd minute of the match. Washington Papa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lisandro López having to interfere. Club El Progreso's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Adolfo Fidensio in the 87th minute. At last the ball reached Cleto Cordaro at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Deportivo Balvanera. 12-0. When Florencio Oxarra came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Deportivo Balvanera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florencio Oxarra couldn't finish the play. When the referee ended the match the Club El Progreso players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
