After having played for 10 minutes, Till Slesinski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Balvanera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Till Slesinski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Omar Lauren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliano Negro in the 12th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's zone, Pierrot Uyttebroeck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serafin Bernal came out of the goal and Pierrot Uyttebroeck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Serafin Bernal successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Deportivo Balvanera's Omar Lauren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliano Negro in the 24th minute of play. Omar Lauren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfredo Nikola, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Cristiano Graziano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Serafin Bernal when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Deportivo Balvanera's Cristiano Graziano was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 34th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. A collision led to Deportivo Balvanera getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Cristiano Graziano hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the match, C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's goal looked a bit too open when Pierrot Uyttebroeck came free, but Serafin Bernal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wilfredo Nikola to make the kick off. Cristiano Graziano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafin Bernal having to interfere. The supporters of C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo booed when Deportivo Balvanera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusebio Ecija didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilfredo Nikola received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Omar Lauren came out and tried to block the shot, but Wilfredo Nikola slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 56th minute. Cristian Romero hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Deportivo Balvanera's Prudencio Uhin was substituted for Pierrot Uyttebroeck. The supporters of Deportivo Balvanera booed when C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. There was no doubt that Deportivo Balvanera were the better team. Deportivo Balvanera's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
