Thanks to some nice moves Saul Baumer could shoot a difficult shot in the 11th minute, which Jean Van Damme however easily saved by the left post. 13 minutes into the game, Mariano Berart was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zuberbühler FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Papillon AC the free kick. After 13 played minutes, Papillon AC's Gustavo Birila shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Napoleon Dziedelonis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Papillon AC reached it. Napoleon Dziedelonis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonides Modestio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jean Van Damme was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Saul Lamberto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Saul Lamberto really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Zuberbühler FC's attentive Tiberiu Fința managed to snatch the ball when Benedicto Pacho made a throw-in in the 32nd minute of the game. Papillon AC's Jean Van Damme proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Papillon AC from getting a goal against them. Leonides Modestio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Papillon AC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Benedicto Pacho hit a great ball. In the 45th minute Leonides Modestio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Napoleon Dziedelonis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonides Modestio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leonides Modestio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 51stth minute, Napoleon Dziedelonis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 53rd minute Papillon AC were awarded a corner. Gustavo Birila went to the cornerflag to take it. Benedicto Pacho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jean Van Damme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saul Baumer, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. With a little luck, Zuberbühler FC's Napoleon Dziedelonis got control of the ball when Leonides Modestio tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 63rd minute of the match Papillon AC got a corner. Zuberbühler FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gustavo Birila ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Medero Medina heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Jean Van Damme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saul Baumer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bai Bang Xiong made in the 70th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Zuberbühler FC's Mariano Berart. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonides Modestio in the 73rd minute of play forced Zuberbühler FC's goalkeeper Napoleon Dziedelonis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Papillon AC's Leonides Modestio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Napoleon Dziedelonis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leonides Modestio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Napoleon Dziedelonis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonides Modestio in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Napoleon Dziedelonis saved Zuberbühler FC from getting behind. Zuberbühler FC's Napoleon Dziedelonis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Birila in the 83rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Papillon AC's Gustavo Birila slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Napoleon Dziedelonis. That made the score 1-1 after 85 minutes of play. Zuberbühler FC's Jacinto Loramendi was substituted for Mariano Berart. Napoleon Dziedelonis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustavo Birila in the 89th minute. In the 90thth minute of the game Leonides Modestio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zuberbühler FC's Napoleon Dziedelonis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Zosimo Vadillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jean Van Damme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marciano Min, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Zuberbühler FC's Jacinto Loramendi managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bai Bang Xiong in the 94 minute of the game. Zosimo Vadillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
