In the 17th minute Boris Minović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baladi Barsi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thornhill City's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marko Vidanović in the 19th minute. Radoman Karaičić's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baladi Barsi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zhuo Le Kun to make the kick off. A collision led to Corinthians Colombiano getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Gaspar Serradell hit a great ball. In the 54th minute of the game Filip Borza made a throw-in which 罗振剑 played forward. Vidosav Joksimović made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Gaspar Serradell sent off a good shot on target. In the 59th match minute, Corinthians Colombiano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filip Borza to maneuver through the defense. After 60 played minutes, Thornhill City's Marko Vidanović shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Baladi Barsi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Thornhill City reached it. After 63 played minutes Thornhill City got a freekick which was hit by Siniša Ognjanović. 68 minutes into the match, Corinthians Colombiano's goal looked a bit too open when Zhuo Le Kun came free, but Baladi Barsi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baladi Barsi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhuo Le Kun in the 71st minute of play. After some careless play in the Corinthians Colombiano defense, Zhuo Le Kun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baladi Barsi. The Corinthians Colombiano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baladi Barsi should have stopped the shot. Thornhill City's Dejan Jovanić was substituted for Siniša Ognjanović. Zhuo Le Kun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Filip Borza hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. The supporters of Corinthians Colombiano booed when Thornhill City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zhuo Le Kun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vidosav Joksimović showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Serradell in the 94th minute of the match. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Thornhill City were victorious despite being under pressure from Corinthians Colombiano for much of the match.
