But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Milan Lezajić couldn't finish the play. 29 minutes into the game, Isaias Salvino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Larroude's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Borac Starčevo the free kick. In the 46th minute, Ðuza Miročević got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 48th minute, Srba Belošević reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Efrain Joanes. The goal made the score 4-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Srba Belošević was the one to do the kick off. Tomislav Čvorkov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saverio Jakue in the 64th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Larroude's zone, Srba Belošević stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Efrain Joanes came out of the goal and Srba Belošević tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Efrain Joanes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Srba Belošević, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Efrain Joanes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Srba Belošević went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. In the 88th minute, Srba Belošević made a precise shot to the right of Efrain Joanes. Larroude's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. In the 93rd minute Srba Belošević shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efrain Joanes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Borac Starčevo fans cheered their team off the field, for while Larroude had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
