In the 39th minute, Benny Niva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Artur Kostrzewski was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Bernardino Rosio hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Celta de Virgos's Zacarias Ascencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franciszek Zukowski in the 46th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benny Niva to make the kick off. Zacarias Ascencio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Konstanty Mockiewicz's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Franciszek Zukowski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zacarias Ascencio. That made the score 2-3 in the 93 minute of play. When the match was over FK Husaria Bielsko-Biala could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Celta de Virgos throughout the match.
