An unexpectedly hard shot by Wessel Bos in the 8th minute of play forced Jagiellonia Denver's goalkeeper Eric Gary to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eric Gary made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wessel Bos in the 15th minute of play. Jagiellonia Denver's Eric Gary played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wessel Bos in the 16th minute of play. Michal Majdoch kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 24th minute of the game Stanford Whitten made a throw-in which Florence Diaz played forward. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Jagiellonia Denver's Cacá Čačak in the 30th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Emilio Shepherd was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for KN ZGORZELEC through an amazing save. After having played for 33 minutes, Wessel Bos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KN ZGORZELEC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wessel Bos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of KN ZGORZELEC booed when Jagiellonia Denver was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stanford Whitten didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eric Gary made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wessel Bos in the 36th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wessel Bos in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eric Gary prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gilbert Gotfryd struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Eric Gary didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KN ZGORZELEC. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wessel Bos to strike the kick off in the second half. If Wessel Bos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wessel Bos in the 50th minute of play forced Jagiellonia Denver's goalkeeper Eric Gary to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Viorel Olaru kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariusz Kaleta got free with Eric Gary in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. KN ZGORZELEC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mariusz Kaleta in the 56th minute. It was a well-played corner which Wessel Bos managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 59th minute Wessel Bos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Gary saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eric Gary showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wessel Bos, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. When Anthimos Ntounias fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KN ZGORZELEC's protests and gave Anthimos Ntounias a yellow card for diving instead. Hélio Donatello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Jagiellonia Denver's Eric Gary got control of the ball when Wessel Bos tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 76 minutes of play, KN ZGORZELEC's Wessel Bos made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eric Gary was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Wessel Bos managed to get in a good position for a shot. KN ZGORZELEC's supporters rose to their feet, but Wessel Bos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eric Gary breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 90 minutes into the match, Wessel Bos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eric Gary. Jagiellonia Denver's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wessel Bos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Although Jagiellonia Denver had been in control for most of the match, KN ZGORZELEC still came away with the win.
