A collision led to FC Harnaś Sanok getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Igor Brysz hit a great ball. Evert Telin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radoslaw Rutkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After a defensive mix-up in CRS Pogoń Barlinek's zone, Radoslaw Rutkowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evert Telin came out of the goal and Radoslaw Rutkowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wincent Rode in the 12th minute of play forced FC Harnaś Sanok's goalkeeper Zbyszko Kajfasz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Radoslaw Rutkowski struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Evert Telin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Harnaś Sanok. 16 minutes into the match, FC Harnaś Sanok's goalkeeper Zbyszko Kajfasz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bogumil Pochorylo. FC Harnaś Sanok's Radoslaw Rutkowski got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Harnaś Sanok's Zbyszko Kajfasz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save FC Harnaś Sanok from getting a goal against them. CRS Pogoń Barlinek's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Harnaś Sanok the free kick. CRS Pogoń Barlinek's Evert Telin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radoslaw Rutkowski in the 42nd minute of play. Wincent Rode received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zbyszko Kajfasz came out and tried to block the shot, but Wincent Rode slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 44th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The CRS Pogoń Barlinek fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when CRS Pogoń Barlinek's Bogumil Pochorylo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Evert Telin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antoni Michalski in the 58th minute of play. Gilbert Dziurowicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Evert Telin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antoni Michalski in the 74th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, CRS Pogoń Barlinek's goal looked a bit too open when Aureliusz Borcz came free, but Evert Telin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute, Zbigniew Dziurowicz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zbyszko Kajfasz was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emil Skorny got free with Evert Telin in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zbyszko Kajfasz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bogumil Pochorylo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evert Telin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliusz Borcz in the 91st minute of play. Radoslaw Rutkowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evert Telin having to interfere. Emil Skorny hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
