The crowd rose to their feet as Underdogs's Ruud van Nistelrooij slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alfred Dziatkowski. That made the score 1-0 after 16 minutes of play. After 19 minutes of play, Underdogs's Ruud van Nistelrooij made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfred Dziatkowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Underdogs's Brak Gola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zygmunt Jarmulowicz in the 22nd minute of play. In the 25th minute Zygmunt Jarmulowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brak Gola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zygmunt Jarmulowicz might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Brak Gola. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zygmunt Jarmulowicz ran back to his position shaking his head. Brak Gola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zygmunt Jarmulowicz in the 26th minute of the match. The supporters of Underdogs booed when WZG Sandomierz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugon Czciborek didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute Zygmunt Jarmulowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brak Gola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfred Dziatkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruud van Nistelrooij in the 33rd minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Underdogs's goal looked a bit too open when Widodo 曹操 came free, but Brak Gola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ruud van Nistelrooij had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ruud van Nistelrooij to make the kick off. Alfred Dziatkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kacper Mentus in the 53rd minute of play. A collision led to Underdogs getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Manuel Oriche hit a great ball. Alfred Dziatkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruud van Nistelrooij, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Underdogs made a substitution. Apostolis Arvanitoyannis replaced Ruud van Nistelrooij. WZG Sandomierz's Wei Jun managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Manuel Oriche in the 61 minute of the game. With a little luck, Underdogs's Brak Gola got control of the ball when Widodo 曹操 tried to sneak it across the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Underdogs's goal looked a bit too open when Zygmunt Jarmulowicz came free, but Brak Gola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Apostolis Arvanitoyannis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfred Dziatkowski. WZG Sandomierz's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Apostolis Arvanitoyannis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 83rdth minute of the game Zygmunt Jarmulowicz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Underdogs's Brak Gola was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Manuel Oriche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfred Dziatkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apostolis Arvanitoyannis in the 86th minute of play. If Apostolis Arvanitoyannis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Underdogs's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
