The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Ruud van Nistelrooij left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Underdogs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 7 minutes of play, Underdogs's Ruud van Nistelrooij made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mariusz Kosakowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Ruud van Nistelrooij had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mariusz Kosakowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruud van Nistelrooij in the 12th minute of the match. After some careless play in the FC Kiepurowo defense, Ruud van Nistelrooij kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mariusz Kosakowski. The FC Kiepurowo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mariusz Kosakowski should have stopped the shot. Underdogs were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after FC Kiepurowo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Patryk Kociniewski took the corner. 23 minutes into the game, Underdogs's Ruud van Nistelrooij nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mariusz Kosakowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Mariusz Kosakowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruud van Nistelrooij, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 29 minutes FC Kiepurowo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Patryk Kociniewski who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Walery Marud almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Kiepurowo's Mariusz Kosakowski did a great save. After 35 minutes, Stanislaw Michalski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Kiepurowo and the Underdogs players grew even worse after the yellow card. Stanislaw Michalski kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Kiepurowo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Patryk Kociniewski was slow to take the kick. During this time Underdogs's players had a chance to rest. Lasse Penttilä made a great header on Underdogs's corner, it was just that FC Kiepurowo's Mariusz Kosakowski managed to reach the ball for a save. Ruud van Nistelrooij took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mariusz Kosakowski. Mariusz Kosakowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Patryk Kociniewski stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mariusz Kosakowski. 0-6. The FC Kiepurowo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Underdogs were winning 0-6.
Mariusz Kosakowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ruud van Nistelrooij's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. 54 minutes into the match, FC Kiepurowo's goal looked a bit too open when Ruud van Nistelrooij came free, but Mariusz Kosakowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruud van Nistelrooij got free with Mariusz Kosakowski in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 58th minute of the game Boruc Zapolski made a throw-in which Aleksander Sliwinski played forward. Lasse Penttilä charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lasse Penttilä the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Underdogs getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Lasse Penttilä hit a great ball. Apostolis Arvanitoyannis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 65th minute Underdogs were awarded a corner. Patryk Kociniewski went to the cornerflag to take it. Patryk Kociniewski made a great header on Underdogs's corner, it was just that FC Kiepurowo's Mariusz Kosakowski managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 66th minute, Underdogs's Apostolis Arvanitoyannis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. Apostolis Arvanitoyannis was extremely unlucky when he, in the 68th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 70 minutes in the game Stanislaw Michalski did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Boruc Zapolski. In the 71st minute, Underdogs's Apostolis Arvanitoyannis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. If Apostolis Arvanitoyannis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 77th minute of the match Underdogs got a corner. FC Kiepurowo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Patryk Kociniewski ran over to the corner to take the kick. At last the ball reached Kacper Mentus at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of FC Kiepurowo. 0-9. With a little luck, FC Kiepurowo's Mariusz Kosakowski got control of the ball when Apostolis Arvanitoyannis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Apostolis Arvanitoyannis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mariusz Kosakowski having to make a save. 82 minutes into the match, FC Kiepurowo's goal looked a bit too open when Apostolis Arvanitoyannis came free, but Mariusz Kosakowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Kiepurowo's goalkeeper Mariusz Kosakowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Apostolis Arvanitoyannis's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mariusz Kosakowski firmly grabbed it by the left post. Apostolis Arvanitoyannis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Mariusz Kosakowski managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when Underdogs's Apostolis Arvanitoyannis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
