With a little luck, Mitschullen SSA's Dobromir Mielak got control of the ball when Ruud van Nistelrooij tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 15th minute of the match Underdogs got a corner. Mitschullen SSA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Patryk Kociniewski ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 20 played minutes Mitschullen SSA got a freekick which was hit by Gustaw Danisiewicz. If Ruud van Nistelrooij had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geralt Wilk in the 24th minute of play forced Underdogs's goalkeeper Brak Gola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geralt Wilk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brak Gola having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Underdogs's Ruud van Nistelrooij sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dobromir Mielak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 36 minutes into the match, Geralt Wilk notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Underdogs's Brak Gola. Brak Gola was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ruud van Nistelrooij fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dobromir Mielak having to interfere. Ruud van Nistelrooij sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Geralt Wilk made the kick off in the second half. Lasse Penttilä kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Mitschullen SSA's zone, Ruud van Nistelrooij stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dobromir Mielak came out of the goal and Ruud van Nistelrooij tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Mitschullen SSA's Bernard Blochowiak got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mitschullen SSA's goalkeeper Dobromir Mielak, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 61 minutes into the match, Mitschullen SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Ruud van Nistelrooij came free, but Dobromir Mielak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65thth minute of the game Ruud van Nistelrooij who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mitschullen SSA's Dobromir Mielak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Underdogs's Apostolis Arvanitoyannis was substituted for Ruud van Nistelrooij. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Haluk Özdil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mitschullen SSA's supporters rose to their feet, but Haluk Özdil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brak Gola breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Apostolis Arvanitoyannis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apostolis Arvanitoyannis in the 73rd minute of play forced Mitschullen SSA's goalkeeper Dobromir Mielak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Apostolis Arvanitoyannis in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dobromir Mielak saved Mitschullen SSA from getting behind. Dobromir Mielak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apostolis Arvanitoyannis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mitschullen SSA's attack was well implemented in the 81st minute, but when Haluk Özdil was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Geralt Wilk got free with Brak Gola in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bernard Blochowiak made in the 89th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Underdogs's Lasse Penttilä. After 90 minutes, Hieronim Sobania mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mitschullen SSA and the Underdogs players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Underdogs's Apostolis Arvanitoyannis in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
