In the 10th minute Steve Steven shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Branislav Velchevski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute Elpidio Francis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Roland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ovidio Roland made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elpidio Francis in the 16th minute. A collision led to Intimos de Reynoso getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Katia Marto hit a great ball. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Branislav Velchevski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steve Steven in the 21st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erez Marica in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Branislav Velchevski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ovidio Roland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elpidio Francis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ovidio Roland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elpidio Francis, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Intimos de Reynoso's goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Francis came free, but Ovidio Roland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erez Marica in the 32nd minute of play forced ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goalkeeper Branislav Velchevski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roland Kolacki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Roland having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erez Marica made a kick off. Ovidio Roland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Prosperi in the 53rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Venancio Havier got a free kick in the 56th minute. Intimos de Reynoso made a substitution. Honesto Valensuela replaced Erez Marica. The supporters of Intimos de Reynoso booed when ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Venancio Havier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Branislav Velchevski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Meder Muños in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 66th minute Miguel Prosperi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Roland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Bonifacio Suarez in the 76th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Intimos de Reynoso's Aquiles Castro. Intimos de Reynoso's Ovidio Roland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elpidio Francis in the 82nd minute of play. Ovidio Roland came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's André Monclús. But to his dismay, André Monclús quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Roland Kolacki got a free kick in the 94th minute. Branislav Velchevski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Meder Muños, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 97 minutes had been played when some careless play by ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Xavian Aquino was slow to take the kick. During this time Intimos de Reynoso's players had a chance to rest. Intimos de Reynoso's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
