The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Unicorns ™'s Corneliu Vulpăşin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Unicorns ™ from getting a goal against them. Dráusio Oliveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iustinian Petre, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. When Dorian Arósio in the 10th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Corneliu Vulpăşin kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. 14 minutes into the match, Unicorns ™'s goal looked a bit too open when Dorian Arósio came free, but Corneliu Vulpăşin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Unicorns ™'s Denis Negruț got a free kick in the 15th minute. An unexpected shot in the 18th minute by Gino de Lima got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 20 minutes into the match, Unicorns ™'s goalkeeper Corneliu Vulpăşin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dorian Arósio. Oscar de Godoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Corneliu Vulpăşin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Vítor Duarte kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Gino de Lima kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Corneliu Vulpăşin. That made the score 2-0 in the 33 minute of play. When Gino de Lima came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Izaltina FAD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gino de Lima couldn't finish the play. The Izaltina FAD fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when Izaltina FAD's Dorian Arósio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Denis Negruț to make the kick off. The supporters of Unicorns ™ booed when Izaltina FAD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorian Arósio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Corneliu Vulpăşin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dorian Arósio went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Corneliu Vulpăşin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorian Arósio in the 60th minute of play. Gino de Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Corneliu Vulpăşin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Izaltina FAD's Gino de Lima in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Unicorns ™'s goalie prevented a goal. Gino de Lima took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Corneliu Vulpăşin. Corneliu Vulpăşin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. In the 73rd minute, Dorian Arósio made a precise shot to the right of Corneliu Vulpăşin. Unicorns ™'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gino de Lima in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Corneliu Vulpăşin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 80 minutes into the game, Iacob Surdu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Unicorns ™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Izaltina FAD the free kick. In the 80th match minute, Unicorns ™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iacob Surdu to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, José Vítor Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Izaltina FAD's supporters rose to their feet, but José Vítor Duarte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Corneliu Vulpăşin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Dorian Arósio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Corneliu Vulpăşin was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Dráusio Oliveira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Denis Negruț went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. Dorian Arósio got his second yellow card in the match during the 88th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 89th match minute, Izaltina FAD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorian Arósio to maneuver through the defense. Oscar de Godoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corneliu Vulpăşin having to interfere.
