The Red Bull Magnus fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Tomasz Motowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Cláudio Bittencourt made a huge save. Leonard Rosen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bass Dost's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Red Bull Magnus were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after AA Bełchatów's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sten Koch took the corner. Red Bull Magnus's Sten Koch was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Leonard Rosen in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomasz Motowski got free with Cláudio Bittencourt in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bass Dost made a kick off. Bass Dost who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Leonard Rosen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tomasz Motowski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cláudio Bittencourt having to make a save. In the 84th minute, Red Bull Magnus's Richard Hefter ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leonard Rosen. Leonard Rosen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Zhao Lin Zhi charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zhao Lin Zhi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of AA Bełchatów booed when Red Bull Magnus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zhao Lin Zhi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonard Rosen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Hefter in the 92nd minute of the match. Cláudio Bittencourt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ryszard Przewozik in the 94th minute of the match. The AA Bełchatów supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Red Bull Magnus's performance. The match ended with a win for Red Bull Magnus.
