Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Inácio Amaral started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the game, Inácio Amaral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. De Kasteelheren's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Foot Ball Club di Roma the free kick. After 2 played minutes De Kasteelheren got a freekick which was hit by Inácio Amaral. 3 minutes into the match, De Kasteelheren's goal looked a bit too open when Biagio Scoca came free, but Fokke Meijeringh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Biagio Scoca came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Foot Ball Club di Roma fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Biagio Scoca couldn't finish the play. Fokke Meijeringh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Biagio Scoca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fokke Meijeringh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Biagio Scoca in the 7th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Ceresoli in the 9th minute of play forced De Kasteelheren's goalkeeper Fokke Meijeringh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 10 played minutes Foot Ball Club di Roma got a freekick which was hit by Yağız Ergünay. When Ferdi Vorenkamp fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored De Kasteelheren's protests and gave Ferdi Vorenkamp a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Biagio Scoca in the 14th minute of play forced De Kasteelheren's goalkeeper Fokke Meijeringh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvaro Pardini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inácio Amaral in the 18th minute of the match. Alvaro Pardini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harold Rodenboog, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Inácio Amaral could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Alvaro Pardini made a huge save. 25 minutes into the match, Foot Ball Club di Roma's goal looked a bit too open when Harold Rodenboog came free, but Alvaro Pardini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Inácio Amaral who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Alvaro Pardini when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 33rd match minute, Foot Ball Club di Roma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alessandro Anastasi to maneuver through the defense. Hayden Hoebe struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Alvaro Pardini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for De Kasteelheren. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anatoliy Gvozdevych in the 36th minute of play forced Foot Ball Club di Roma's goalkeeper Alvaro Pardini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Foot Ball Club di Roma defense, Harold Rodenboog kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alvaro Pardini. The Foot Ball Club di Roma fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alvaro Pardini should have stopped the shot. Ferdi Vorenkamp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 46th minute Inácio Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Pardini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Niccolo Zaniolo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Foot Ball Club di Roma's goal looked a bit too open when Inácio Amaral came free, but Alvaro Pardini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The attack was good, but when Harold Rodenboog in the 55th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Niccolo Zaniolo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alvaro Pardini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harold Rodenboog in the 62nd minute of play. De Kasteelheren's Fokke Meijeringh proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save De Kasteelheren from getting a goal against them. Fokke Meijeringh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Biagio Di Marco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Foot Ball Club di Roma's Niccolo Zaniolo in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye De Kasteelheren's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Biagio Di Marco got free with Fokke Meijeringh in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fokke Meijeringh made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Niccolo Zaniolo sent off a good shot on target. In the 73rd match minute, De Kasteelheren was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jos Everts to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute De Kasteelheren were awarded a corner. Hayden Hoebe went to the cornerflag to take it. If Ferdi Vorenkamp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Foot Ball Club di Roma's Alvaro Pardini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inácio Amaral in the 85th minute of play. In the 88thth minute of the game Biagio Scoca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but De Kasteelheren's Fokke Meijeringh was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Niccolo Zaniolo in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fokke Meijeringh saved De Kasteelheren from getting behind. Inácio Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Alvaro Pardini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armando Ceresoli kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Foot Ball Club di Roma players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for De Kasteelheren.
