The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 8 minutes Tynemouth Wanderers's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Timofey Buznikin who took care of the corner kick. Timofey Buznikin made a great header on Спартак's corner, it was just that Tynemouth Wanderers's Trey Nevin managed to reach the ball for a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vitaliy Eliseev in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Trey Nevin saved Tynemouth Wanderers from getting behind. In the 13thth minute of the game Vitaliy Eliseev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tynemouth Wanderers's Trey Nevin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Trey Nevin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armin Mustakivi in the 15th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Vitaliy Eliseev notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Tynemouth Wanderers's Trey Nevin. Trey Nevin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Tynemouth Wanderers getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Glyn Bullard hit a great ball. Trey Nevin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vitaliy Eliseev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the match, Tynemouth Wanderers's goal looked a bit too open when Armin Mustakivi came free, but Trey Nevin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Armin Mustakivi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armin Mustakivi in the 24th minute of play forced Tynemouth Wanderers's goalkeeper Trey Nevin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Trey Nevin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitaliy Eliseev in the 25th minute of play. If Albert Schegodskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitaliy Eliseev in the 30th minute of play forced Tynemouth Wanderers's goalkeeper Trey Nevin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute, Armin Mustakivi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Спартак fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. With an all-out effort, Tynemouth Wanderers's 유 길 threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ken Halliday, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ken Halliday sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45thth minute of the game Armin Mustakivi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tynemouth Wanderers's Trey Nevin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Спартак fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when Спартак's Armin Mustakivi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After the first half Спартак were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vitaliy Eliseev to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Vitaliy Eliseev had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Trey Nevin. Tynemouth Wanderers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vitaliy Eliseev was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. After 55 minutes Tynemouth Wanderers's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Timofey Buznikin who took care of the corner kick. Спартак's Timofey Buznikin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Trey Nevin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Vitaliy Eliseev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trey Nevin having to interfere. In the 60thth minute of the game Ken Halliday who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Спартак's 유 길 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Спартак's zone, Darryl Cummings stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 유 길 came out of the goal and Darryl Cummings tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Trey Nevin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitaliy Eliseev, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. The audience was convinced that Armin Mustakivi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Trey Nevin was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vitaliy Eliseev in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Trey Nevin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albert Schegodskiy got free with Trey Nevin in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Trey Nevin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitaliy Eliseev in the 72nd minute of the match. Trey Nevin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitaliy Eliseev, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Trey Nevin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vitaliy Eliseev in the 82nd minute. Vitaliy Eliseev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Trey Nevin made a huge save. Trey Nevin had great luck who in the 86thth minute grab hold of the ball when Vitaliy Eliseev from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 88 minutes into the match, Спартак's goal looked a bit too open when John-Paul Amos came free, but 유 길 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
