The crowd rose to their feet as Variante Delta's Caio Hornilla slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nils Flink. That made the score 1-0 after 24 minutes of play. If Caio Hornilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nils Flink showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caio Hornilla, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 33 minutes into the game, Ove Wennerberg threw the ball into play from the sideline. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
