The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 played minutes 20 de Março FC got a freekick which was hit by Pedrão Campidelis. After a defensive mix-up in 20 de Março FC's zone, Song Di Xu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Percival Montenegro came out of the goal and Song Di Xu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Percival Montenegro came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Πυργετός Fc's Song Di Xu. But to his dismay, Song Di Xu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by André Sörman during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, 20 de Março FC's André Sörman got a free kick in the 20th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Song Di Xu in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Percival Montenegro saved 20 de Março FC from getting behind. If Hélio Donatello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Percival Montenegro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Song Di Xu, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 31 minutes into the match, 20 de Março FC's goal looked a bit too open when Song Di Xu came free, but Percival Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Song Di Xu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Percival Montenegro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. André Sörman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Lucho Putin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, 20 de Março FC's Percival Montenegro got control of the ball when Song Di Xu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 43rd minute of the match Πυργετός Fc got a corner. 20 de Março FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Thanos Kalikis ran over to the corner to take the kick. Thanos Kalikis made a great header on Πυργετός Fc's corner, it was just that 20 de Março FC's Percival Montenegro managed to reach the ball for a save. If Song Di Xu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Percival Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Song Di Xu in the 45th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hélio Donatello to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Πυργετός Fc were awarded a corner. Thanos Kalikis went to the cornerflag to take it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Song Di Xu in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Percival Montenegro saved 20 de Março FC from getting behind. In the 56th minute Thanos Kalikis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Percival Montenegro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, 20 de Março FC's goal looked a bit too open when Song Di Xu came free, but Percival Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 de Março FC's Percival Montenegro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Song Di Xu in the 63rd minute of play. Πυργετός Fc's Lucho Putin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélio Donatello in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute Jon Klein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Percival Montenegro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jon Klein in the 65th minute of play forced 20 de Março FC's goalkeeper Percival Montenegro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 66 minutes of play, Πυργετός Fc's Song Di Xu made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Percival Montenegro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Percival Montenegro came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Πυργετός Fc's Song Di Xu. But to his dismay, Song Di Xu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Πυργετός Fc's Petros Moschogiannis was substituted for Benny Impens. 20 de Março FC's André Sörman got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Song Di Xu might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Percival Montenegro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Song Di Xu ran back to his position shaking his head. André Sörman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Lucho Putin made a huge save. In the 89th minute, Hélio Donatello ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucho Putin was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Song Di Xu in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Percival Montenegro saved 20 de Março FC from getting behind. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Πυργετός Fc were victorious despite being under pressure from 20 de Março FC for much of the match.
