Sérgio Chaves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eligijus Kavaliūnas having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Jovens Democratas MZC's Sérgio Chaves slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eligijus Kavaliūnas. That made the score 2-0 after 9 minutes of play. Eligijus Kavaliūnas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Célio de Sousa in the 14th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the game, Wilian Antunes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eligijus Kavaliūnas. Wilian Antunes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Eligijus Kavaliūnas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Célio de Sousa in the 33rd minute. Emanuel Branco's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Eligijus Kavaliūnas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sérgio Chaves got free with Eligijus Kavaliūnas in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ąžuolas Dališanskis made a kick off. The referee felt a red card was in order, 53 minutes into the game, when Zé Augusto Tinoco put in a rough tackle. In the 54th match minute, Jovens Democratas MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Augusto Tinoco to maneuver through the defense. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by Jovens Democratas MZC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marius Vyšniauskas was slow to take the kick. During this time Lithuanian amber's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Lithuanian amber's Rapolas Norkūnas getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 58thth minute of the game Sérgio Chaves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lithuanian amber's Eligijus Kavaliūnas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Rapolas Norkūnas fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lithuanian amber's protests and gave Rapolas Norkūnas a yellow card for diving instead. After 59 played minutes Lithuanian amber got a freekick which was hit by Rapolas Norkūnas. The audience was convinced that Wilian Antunes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eligijus Kavaliūnas was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vėjas Radzinevičius during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 65th match minute, Lithuanian amber was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vėjas Radzinevičius to maneuver through the defense.
