In the 5th minute, Pagos FC's Uwe Birmes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pagos FC's goalkeeper Manuel Campens, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thomás Toscano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uwe Birmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thomás Toscano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuralp Akbal, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Nuralp Akbal received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Thomás Toscano came out and tried to block the shot, but Nuralp Akbal slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uwe Birmes in the 23rd minute of play forced Capibaribe Stars's goalkeeper Thomás Toscano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Uwe Birmes took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Thomás Toscano to make any attempt to save it. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Nuralp Akbal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pagos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nuralp Akbal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thomás Toscano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Manuel Campens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberigo Prosperi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Capibaribe Stars's Thomás Toscano got control of the ball when Nuralp Akbal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nuralp Akbal in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Thomás Toscano, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hicham Al Azka in the 42nd minute of play forced Pagos FC's goalkeeper Manuel Campens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 46 played minutes Capibaribe Stars got a freekick which was hit by Lothar Matthäus. Thomás Toscano came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Pagos FC's Nuralp Akbal. But to his dismay, Nuralp Akbal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alberigo Prosperi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thomás Toscano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuralp Akbal, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Pagos FC were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Capibaribe Stars's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Maximilian Carlsson took the corner. Manuel Campens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilton Fontes in the 58th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute Alberigo Prosperi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Campens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jason Statham kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Pagos FC's Christos Bartzokas was substituted for Nuralp Akbal. Capibaribe Stars's Robinho Urbano was substituted for Alberigo Prosperi. After 66 played minutes Pagos FC got a freekick which was hit by Jason Statham. In the 67th minute of the match Wilton Fontes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manuel Campens showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, Pagos FC's Manuel Campens got control of the ball when Henry Costa tried to sneak it across the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Pagos FC's goalkeeper Manuel Campens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henry Costa. 74 minutes into the match, Pagos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Robinho Urbano came free, but Manuel Campens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Capibaribe Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Montae came free, but Thomás Toscano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Capibaribe Stars getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Lothar Matthäus hit a great ball. In the 77th minute of the match Maximilian Carlsson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Thomás Toscano skillfully saved the ball. In the 78th minute Henry Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Campens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pagos FC's Manuel Campens proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Pagos FC from getting a goal against them. Henry Costa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Manuel Campens made a huge save. Manuel Campens stood somewhat misplaced when Robinho Urbano came free in front of goal and shot 5-1 to the left of him in the 81 minute. Capibaribe Stars's Thomás Toscano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christos Bartzokas in the 83rd minute of play. Pagos FC's Manuel Campens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robinho Urbano in the 84th minute of play. In the 94th minute Francisco Montae shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomás Toscano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francisco Montae took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thomás Toscano. Thomás Toscano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1.
