With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claudio-Paul Caniggia in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dan Wennerqvist saved Soroca F.C. from getting behind. When Julio Tolino came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Deportivo Pucho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julio Tolino couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adrián Espadas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Răzvan Necula scored 3-1 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Józef Mlynarczyk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 77thth minute of the game Răzvan Necula who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Pucho's Józef Mlynarczyk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Paulo Milio got a throw-in 78 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Julio Tolino. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Răzvan Necula put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Józef Mlynarczyk.
