But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 庄潮勇 couldn't finish the play. Breno Vergílio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 庄潮勇, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cyryl Soszka made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benjamin da Mata in the 26th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Barbieri Sports's goal looked a bit too open when 庄潮勇 came free, but Breno Vergílio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benjamin da Mata to make the kick off.
