After taking down the ball on C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's corner Pablo Innocenzio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mías Khalifa quite easily take care of the ball. After 14 played minutes C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ got a freekick which was hit by Igor Montes. In the 15th minute Tincho Palermo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Ireno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Tincho Palermo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Simbo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tincho Palermo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benedicto Ireno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristo Karlo kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Mías Khalifa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albino Baladi in the 28th minute of play. After having played for 33 minutes, Tincho Palermo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Simbo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tincho Palermo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yin Wei Yi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mías Khalifa firmly grabbed it by the left post. Mías Khalifa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yin Wei Yi in the 43rd minute. Sabri Ravelli charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sabri Ravelli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 44th match minute, Simbo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sabri Ravelli to maneuver through the defense. Yin Wei Yi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mías Khalifa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tincho Palermo to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Simbo FC's Tincho Palermo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benedicto Ireno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Mías Khalifa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yin Wei Yi in the 58th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Simbo FC's Tincho Palermo got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 60th match minute, Simbo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tincho Palermo to maneuver through the defense. Anselmo Leocadio made in the 69th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Miliano Sacristán however managed to control. After a rather tough play, C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Ulryk Fikus got a free kick in the 77th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miliano Sacristán got free with Benedicto Ireno in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 82ndth minute of the game Teodosio Montes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Simbo FC's Mías Khalifa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Teodosio Montes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mías Khalifa was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Simbo FC's Miliano Sacristán got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Fernando Seber got a free kick in the 89th minute. Teodosio Montes might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mías Khalifa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teodosio Montes ran back to his position shaking his head. Mías Khalifa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodosio Montes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
