Karl-Erik Norström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fermin Dolfo in the 10th minute of play. Chen Ao Fan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Basri İhtiyar made a huge save. Basri İhtiyar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calle Melberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Kevin Keegan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 20 minutes, Fermin Dolfo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yalapa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fermin Dolfo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Karl-Erik Norström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fermin Dolfo in the 22nd minute of the match. Fermin Dolfo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fermin Dolfo in the 27th minute of play forced Skövde AIK's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Norström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The wind increased when Fermin Dolfo made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Yalapa booed when Skövde AIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filip Brolin didn't get a good kick on the ball.
