Frederico Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hernani Correia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frederico Barros in the 37th minute of play. Edgar Iordănescu hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Nuno Ramos missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 43 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Eufrasio Vall right hand side. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Frederico Barros sped through Desert Fury's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hernani Correia. Disappointed in the 0-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frederico Barros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mariolo's supporters rose to their feet, but Frederico Barros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hernani Correia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Frederico Barros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hernani Correia was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Hernani Correia made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Frederico Barros sent off a good shot on target. 73 minutes into the match, Desert Fury's goalkeeper Hernani Correia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frederico Barros. After 73 played minutes Mariolo got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Iordănescu. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Desert Fury reached it. When Jorge Roma was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 77 minutes had been played. Frederico Barros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Hernani Correia made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Mariolo's Frederico Barros slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hernani Correia. That made the score 0-9 after 82 minutes of play. Frederico Barros in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hernani Correia, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 89 minutes in the game, Umea Loza fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Hernani Correia having to interfere. Desert Fury's Hernani Correia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Desert Fury from getting a goal against them.
