In the 9th minute Roberto Carlo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lu Zhen Sheng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Koča Kafarov might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Camilo Salvidor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Koča Kafarov ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Koča Kafarov got free with Camilo Salvidor in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lu Zhen Sheng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaston Firmo in the 12th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdoulay Doucouré in the 14th minute of play forced DREAM TEAM WORLD's goalkeeper Lu Zhen Sheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lu Zhen Sheng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdoulay Doucouré, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute of the game Silverio Sergi made a throw-in which Roberto Carlo played forward. Lu Zhen Sheng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdoulay Doucouré in the 19th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, DREAM TEAM WORLD's goal looked a bit too open when Abdoulay Doucouré came free, but Lu Zhen Sheng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaston Firmo in the 23rd minute of play forced DREAM TEAM WORLD's goalkeeper Lu Zhen Sheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Menchu FC's goalkeeper Camilo Salvidor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Koča Kafarov. Armando Roland made in the 30th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Silverio Sergi however managed to control. 31 minutes into the match, DREAM TEAM WORLD's goal looked a bit too open when Abdoulay Doucouré came free, but Lu Zhen Sheng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. DREAM TEAM WORLD's Lu Zhen Sheng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdoulay Doucouré in the 33rd minute of play. Menchu FC were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after DREAM TEAM WORLD's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lucas Martínez Quarta took the corner. In the 35th minute Gaston Firmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lu Zhen Sheng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, DREAM TEAM WORLD's goal looked a bit too open when Gaston Firmo came free, but Lu Zhen Sheng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Héctor Adomaitis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Salvidor having to interfere. Lu Zhen Sheng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdoulay Doucouré, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After some careless play in the DREAM TEAM WORLD defense, Abdoulay Doucouré kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lu Zhen Sheng. The DREAM TEAM WORLD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lu Zhen Sheng should have stopped the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gaston Firmo to make the kick off. Koča Kafarov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Camilo Salvidor having to make a save. Camilo Salvidor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Koča Kafarov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, DREAM TEAM WORLD's Lu Zhen Sheng got control of the ball when Gaston Firmo tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Menchu FC's Abdoulay Doucouré in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye DREAM TEAM WORLD's goalie prevented a goal. Lu Zhen Sheng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdoulay Doucouré, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lu Zhen Sheng came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Menchu FC's Gaston Firmo. But to his dismay, Gaston Firmo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Camilo Salvidor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Koča Kafarov, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Basarab Jupân kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. DREAM TEAM WORLD made a substitution. Andrzej Zapolski replaced Koča Kafarov. DREAM TEAM WORLD made a substitution. Wilfredo Cutberto replaced Héctor Adomaitis. DREAM TEAM WORLD made a substitution. Paulo Jon replaced Elpidio Curcio. In the 74th minute, Basarab Jupân hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Camilo Salvidor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrzej Zapolski in the 76th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Menchu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Vime came free, but Camilo Salvidor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Menchu FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lucas Martínez Quarta in the 84th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of DREAM TEAM WORLD's goalie and right to Arturo Roderigo. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. DREAM TEAM WORLD's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrzej Zapolski in the 86th minute of play forced Menchu FC's goalkeeper Camilo Salvidor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximiliano Vime took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Camilo Salvidor. Camilo Salvidor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Menchu FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
