Luís Fabiano Chaves started the match with the kick off. Pedro Toledo came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Morabem EC's Zé Pedro Silva. But to his dismay, Zé Pedro Silva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Pedro Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Pedro Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Luiz Eduardo Loureiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cido Peres having to interfere. Cido Peres made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Fábio Cerezo in the 10th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luís Fábio Cerezo got free with Cido Peres in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Morabem EC's Cido Peres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Eduardo Loureiro in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute Horácio Félix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cido Peres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 16 minutes of play, Morabem EC's Zé Pedro Silva made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Toledo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luís Fábio Cerezo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Cido Peres made a huge save. In the 28th minute, Luiz Eduardo Loureiro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cido Peres. The goal made the score 1-2. Cido Peres made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Eduardo Loureiro in the 39th minute. Cido Peres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Eduardo Loureiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 46 minutes, Luís Fabiano Chaves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Morabem EC and the Tarrasque Voador F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 46 played minutes Morabem EC got a freekick which was hit by Luís Fabiano Chaves. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Luís Fabiano Chaves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Pedro Toledo made a huge save. Luís Fabiano Chaves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Toledo having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Morabem EC's Marcelo Cosme ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pedro Toledo. Pedro Toledo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Pedro Toledo made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Waldemar Ribeiro sent off a good shot on target. When Luís Fabiano Chaves came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Morabem EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Fabiano Chaves couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Tarrasque Voador F.C. booed when Morabem EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Pedro Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute, Luiz Eduardo Loureiro made a precise shot to the right of Cido Peres. Morabem EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Zé Roberto Veloso kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Cido Peres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Eduardo Loureiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 85th match minute, Morabem EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldemar Ribeiro to maneuver through the defense. Waldemar Ribeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. 95 minutes in the game, Oséias Paiva fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Pedro Toledo having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Morabem EC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
