Leo Jardim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Kazczyk in the 4th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Redondo in the 7th minute of play forced Atlético Cristo Rei's goalkeeper Leo Jardim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the game, Real Juniors's Roland Redondo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leo Jardim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Kazczyk in the 11th minute of play forced Atlético Cristo Rei's goalkeeper Leo Jardim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 15 played minutes Real Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Efe Suheyl. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felippe Sena in the 17th minute of play forced Real Juniors's goalkeeper Christian Carballo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Atlético Cristo Rei's Nilson Meireles got a free kick in the 17th minute. During the 19th minute of the match Nilson Meireles completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Nilson Meireles a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 19th match minute, Atlético Cristo Rei was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nilson Meireles to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the match, Atlético Cristo Rei's goalkeeper Leo Jardim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastian Kazczyk. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sebastian Kazczyk in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leo Jardim saved Atlético Cristo Rei from getting behind. Felippe Sena made in the 32nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Real Juniors's Keanu Reeves. Sebastian Kazczyk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leo Jardim having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Sebastian Kazczyk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leo Jardim was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Sebastian Kazczyk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Leo Jardim made a huge save.
The wind increased when Vítor Netto made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Atlético Cristo Rei got a freekick which was hit by Vítor Netto. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Kazczyk in the 54th minute of play forced Atlético Cristo Rei's goalkeeper Leo Jardim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute, Sebastian Kazczyk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ahmet Efe Suheyl blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leo Jardim having to make a save. Leo Jardim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Efe Suheyl, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Leo Jardim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Efe Suheyl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 66 minutes of play, Real Juniors's Ahmet Efe Suheyl made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leo Jardim was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmet Efe Suheyl in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leo Jardim saved Atlético Cristo Rei from getting behind. After having played for 71 minutes, Ahmet Efe Suheyl managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Efe Suheyl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leo Jardim came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Juniors's Ahmet Efe Suheyl. But to his dismay, Ahmet Efe Suheyl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 78th match minute, Atlético Cristo Rei was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felippe Sena to maneuver through the defense. Ahmet Efe Suheyl's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leo Jardim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. After 80 minutes Atlético Cristo Rei's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zula Furtok who took care of the corner kick. In the 83rd minute, Ahmet Efe Suheyl left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. In the 87th match minute, Atlético Cristo Rei was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felippe Sena to maneuver through the defense. Ahmet Efe Suheyl took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leo Jardim. Leo Jardim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Toninho Tande's late challenge caught a Real Juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Toninho Tande helped the player get up and apologised. Toninho Tande kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Atlético Cristo Rei's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Efe Suheyl came free, but Leo Jardim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Real Juniors players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
