But to his dismay, King Batistuta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, Jacksonville 67's goal looked a bit too open when Prospero Inguma came free, but Rogelio Hanni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rogelio Hanni didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Prospero Perico went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Rogelio Hanni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Efraim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the game, Serafino Venerando threw the ball into play from the sideline. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Prospero Perico sped through Jacksonville 67's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rogelio Hanni. When Serafino Venerando fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lobos de Carelia's protests and gave Serafino Venerando a yellow card for diving instead. Serafino Venerando hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Prospero Inguma in the 79th minute of play forced Jacksonville 67's goalkeeper Rogelio Hanni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Feliberto Ipar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 94 played minutes Lobos de Carelia got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Jimenez. In the 95th minute of the match Burak Öz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Feliberto Ipar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
