In the 6th minute, Elpidio Francis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tiburcio Argina kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Miguel Prosperi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Maximino Hitz made a huge save. The supporters of ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA booed when NECKER49 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Björn-Torben Kappel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute, Elpidio Francis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximino Hitz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After some careless play in the NECKER49 defense, Elpidio Francis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maximino Hitz. The NECKER49 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maximino Hitz should have stopped the shot. After 27 played minutes NECKER49 got a freekick which was hit by Santiago Totakoxe. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Branislav Velchevski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genaro Remicio in the 30th minute of play. Gigel Onete sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 35 minutes into the match, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goal looked a bit too open when Genaro Remicio came free, but Branislav Velchevski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Benicio Seguinus managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Björn-Torben Kappel in the 36 minute of the game. The ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Elpidio Francis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 43 minutes, Björn-Torben Kappel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NECKER49 and the ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Björn-Torben Kappel hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. NECKER49's Maximino Hitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elpidio Francis in the 44th minute of play. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA were awarded a corner in the 45th minute after NECKER49's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Miguel Prosperi took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Miguel Prosperi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Maximino Hitz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gigel Onete in the 47th minute of play forced ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goalkeeper Branislav Velchevski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Genaro Remicio to make the kick off. Genaro Remicios short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Branislav Velchevski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. NECKER49 made a substitution. Rene Baumer replaced Gigel Onete. The throw-in from Björn-Torben Kappel in the 58th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Benicio Seguinus. Branislav Velchevski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Víctor Franco, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 66 minutes into the match, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Baumer came free, but Branislav Velchevski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isidoro Fagondos short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Branislav Velchevski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With an all-out effort, NECKER49's Branislav Velchevski threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rene Baumer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
