In the 29th minute, Anton Gertsyk made a precise shot to the right of Arnold Szuper. Szombathely Squirrels's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Polikarp Miheev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tivadar Demeter in the 33rd minute. Arnold Szuper showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kazimierz Merski, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Amanda Almqvist could shoot a difficult shot in the 40th minute, which Polikarp Miheev however easily saved by the left post. Radamel Falcao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnold Szuper having to interfere. Szombathely Squirrels's Arnold Szuper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stergios Gitkos in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Radamel Falcao made the kick off in the second half. Luciano Aued was slow to take the kick. During this time Szombathely Squirrels's players had a chance to rest. 64 minutes into the match, FC Barcelona Lassa's goal looked a bit too open when Lei Jian Xiong came free, but Polikarp Miheev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Polikarp Miheev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lei Jian Xiong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute, Attila Kiss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Szombathely Squirrels booed when FC Barcelona Lassa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danil Saveliev didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Barcelona Lassa's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
