Leonel Libertad charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonel Libertad the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 8th match minute, Los Gallos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Libertad to maneuver through the defense. Anacleto Horado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anacleto Horado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Ferdinand in the 13th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Gipuzkoa Chamochin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Gallos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boquenses the free kick. A collision led to Los Gallos getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Gipuzkoa Chamochin hit a great ball. In the 21st minute Nicolas Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anacleto Horado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Vladimiro Jerold dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tobias Osoro, 1-0. Nicolas Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Anacleto Horado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tobias Osoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimiro Jerold, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Boquenses's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Boyko Rushkarski was slow to take the kick. During this time Los Gallos's players had a chance to rest. Los Gallos's Boyko Rushkarski was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tobias Osoro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Tobias Osoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimiro Jerold in the 44th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Boquenses's Teobaldo Oier was substituted for Rodrigo Ferdinand. After 53 played minutes Los Gallos got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Libertad. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Nicolas Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boquenses's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolas Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anacleto Horado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Los Gallos's Anacleto Horado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregorio Tirso in the 57th minute of play. Tobias Osoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimiro Jerold in the 62nd minute of play. After 62 played minutes Boquenses got a freekick which was hit by Gregorio Tirso. In the 66thth minute of the game Vladimiro Jerold who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boquenses's Tobias Osoro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With an all-out effort, Boquenses's Anacleto Horado threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nicolas Sancho, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Anacleto Horado made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Nicolas Sancho sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Anacleto Horado managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when Boquenses's Nicolas Sancho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Boquenses's Nicolas Sancho managed to work through Los Gallos's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Nicolas Sancho dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. When Vladimiro Jerold came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Los Gallos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vladimiro Jerold couldn't finish the play. Tobias Osoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimiro Jerold in the 77th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vladimiro Jerold in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tobias Osoro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 79 minutes Boquenses's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Boyko Rushkarski who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Boyko Rushkarski got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tobias Osoro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a little luck, Los Gallos's Anacleto Horado got control of the ball when Teobaldo Oier tried to sneak it across the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Boquenses's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimiro Jerold came free, but Tobias Osoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. During the 91st minute of the match Leonel Libertad completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Leonel Libertad a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Boquenses's Nicolas Sancho couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Los Gallos. Feliciano Pancho kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Los Gallos's Boyko Rushkarski got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Boquenses's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Los Gallos had won, even though Boquenses had held more of the ball.
